Incoming Aliens
By Joyce Larsen
The hot, barren planet had been home for
three years. Now, her man wanted to move again.
"I thought you said we'd stay
here, forever."
"Darling, a voice is urging me on
to a new, lush planet, rippling with water. I can't say no to the
voice."
They fired up their space ship and left
the old world for the new.
As they approached the round blue orb
with the clinging, white clouds, he said, "We'll call this place Earth,
and we'll never, never leave. I promise.
Eve smiled. Maybe, he'd settle down and
raise a family.
