SHOULDN'T HAVE ASKED

Nigel was suspicious of his new girlfriend. He only saw her at night, and she hated garlic and churches. The signs were all there. But he couldn't bring himself to "stake" her without first hearing her case.

She chuckled when accused. "Don't be ridiculous," she said, holding the crucifix he'd thrust upon her. "There's no such thing as vampires..."

Embarrassed, and unable to look her in the eyes, he stared past her at a rising full moon. Still, something bothered him.  He wondered why she hated silver so much...

Nigel's girlfriend growled, suddenly on all fours, revealing her hairy secret.
