| Ok, please help me remember a book. I read this book about 10 years ago when I was in Russia (so it was in Russian) it might have been a translation or a Russian book. Basically the story takes place on a planet that is full of robots – they all follow set objectives (work, production, etc). But one robot becomes free thinker – his is once of the defectives. The reboots name was a number (#5?). So these defectives are being hunted – to be destroyed. There is also a part when humans land on this planet, and they try to observe whgat is going on. The book was written in a style that was kinda like Lem’s and Strugatsky’s. |
