| Many years ago I read a Scifi book that I loved but have since forgotten. I was about a young man who I think was named Billy, he was conscripted into the armed forces by a Sargent someone? who had these Boar teeth inserted in his mouth. Anyway the young man went off and became a hero for destroying the enemy fleet by unbeknowingly moving a mouse curser onto a bleep on the computer screen and pressing a button. Also one of his army buddies turned out to be an enemy critter in diguise when his head flipped open and the critter crawled out. I know it sounds corny but it was actually kinda funny. Does anyone recognise this storyline and know the name of the book as I would like to get hold of it again. |
