NUDGING NEPTUNE

By Deborah P. Kolodji

Nudging Neptune
in last place
Pluto whirls with Charon
dancing the solar system
sashay
turning blue
blue with Methane
Neptune swings
an unwilling dance partner
cursing
icy geyser blasts
Triton dragging heels
into retrograde orbit

By Deborah P. Kolodji

Silent
signals from stars
sliding by satellites
searching for radio noises
