Cave

There is a cave in outer space,
where icy stars are born.
A dark and damp inviting place,
for solar bats to swarm.
Cobwebs catch galactic dust.
Stalagmites pierce the ground.
A spaceship in the corner rusts,
the crew has not been found.
Flying fish dive through the air,
with fins of blue and green.
Spiders dangling long black hairs,
hide in crevices not seen.
To reach this distant cavern,
travel through the mind.
But the only ones who get here,
leave logic far behind.
